We’ve all been there. That moment when you have sent an email to the wrong person and have to sit back and wait for the fall out. In cases where you have sent confidential documents to the wrong parties the consequences can be especially damaging. With Document GPS you don’t have to worry because you can always revoke access to any file you send. Even better, you can see in your Tracking Log whether or not someone even viewed the file so you know in real-time whether or not you need to worry.
How easy is it?
It’s as easy as this:
- Click on the file in My Library and select Manage Recipients
- Click on the person’s name
- Press Delete
You will still be able to see any events that took place before you removed their access but the recipient will no longer be able to even view the file. If there are others in the email thread who you fear will share the attachment with others, just make sure you have Sharing permissions turned off. That way only your direct recipients will be able to open the file. For even greater security, our Advanced Screenshot Protection drastically reduces the likelihood of someone taking pictures with either their laptop or an external device.
